To support consistent and proportionate application of the guidance on assessing and monitoring the economic and financial standing of suppliers, we have introduced a tiered classification system: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze which you can classify your Requirement against.
Picking your Classification
When in a Requirement, you can select the appropriate option by clicking the Classification button in the top right corner. This can be set to 'Platinum', 'Gold', 'Silver', 'Bronze' or 'Not Set'.
This is logged in the Audit Log.
Requirement Dashboard
The classification shows up on the Requirements dashboard screen in a column named 'Class'. This can be made visible in the columns drop-down list.
You can search by the classification types to bring up the list of the relevant requirements with that classification.
This approach aligns with the principles outlined in the Cabinet Office’s Playbooks and supports more informed, risk-based decision-making across procurement activity.
