Storage Cleanup

Modified on Mon, 1 Sep at 5:02 PM

Key Users with the correct permissions have the option to bulk delete old files from job bags. To do this go to Settings > Storage Cleanup

From here you can search for files that you want to delete using a filter system. Adding dates into the Date Range will filter the files according to when they were last modified. You can also filter using Folders which will show files uploaded to job bags under the following options:

  • Communications Plan
  • Design briefs
  • Images
  • Client estimate approval
  • Files from client
  • Files from supplier
  • original copy
  • Subbed copy
  • Final copy
  • Approvals
  • Amendments
  • Proofs
  • Final artwork
  • Reports
  • Production correspondence
  • Delivery notes
  • Supplier invoices
  • Delivery Confirmation

You can select multiple folders to scan. Once you have chosen your date range and folders click Search to scan the software for relevant files. If there are no relevant files according to your search a red error message will show saying No files in this date range were found. To start a new search click Cancel in the bottom right corner of the screen, after which you will be able to amend your filters.

Once the scan is complete you can Review files which have shown up against your search criteria. You will be able to see the File name, the Job it has been uploaded to, the Size of the file, and the Modified Date. Clicking on Job, Size, or Modified Date will sort the files by the selected option.

Once you have reviewed the files and you are happy to delete them, click Delete in the bottom right corner of the screen. A pop-up will appear asking if you are sure, as this action cannot be undone, and the files will not be recoverable. To proceed click Yes. If you want to amend or stop your search, click Cancel.
