Requirements: Nudges

Nudges act as a way to send messages to people associated with a Requirement, including Suppliers, Buyers and named People.


Nudges can either:

- be created and sent by Procurement, Contract Manager and Stakeholders named on the Requirement

- be sent from a Supplier (if enabled) to the named Procurement and Contract Managers on the Requirement


Create & Send a Nudge

  • Input a Subject and Note
  • You can attach any documents from the Documents Library of your Requirement
  • Select the Stage the Nudge relates to
  • Select Recipients to choose the users you wish to send the Nudge(s) to. You can select up to 20 participants involved with the Requirement to send a Nudge to simultaneously.
    • You can filter users by: Research Participants; Tender Participants; Suppliers (Live, Qualified, Disqualified); Procurement People; Contract Managers; Stakeholders; Customers; Tender Evaluators 
      • You can select "Select All" if you wish to select all users belonging to a group 
    • For each person you wish to nudge select them by using the tick box then click 'Add>>'
    • Once you've selected each user you wish to send the Nudge to, click 'Set Selected
  • Once you're ready, click '+Send' to send the Nudge


Key users can toggle supplier nudges, per rfx, after the clarification deadline and before the tender closing date.


Nudge recipients (including Suppliers) will be able to respond to your Nudge and can reply with attachments of their own. You will be notified each time you get a Nudge response.


The name of the Recipient will display if the user belongs to a Client organisation, and the Organisation's name will display if the user belongs to a supplier organisation.



Viewing Nudges

All Nudges sent via the Requirement will be stored in this tab. 


Clicking on a Nudge allows you to:

  • View any responses to the Nudge
  • Send any extra messages relating to the same Nudge
  • Close the Nudge (this will change the status to Closed)
  • Cancel the Nudge (this will change the status to Cancelled)
  • Make the Nudge visible to Stakholder users on the Requirement


You can filter the Nudges in this screen by status, the stage of requirement they're related to, Organisation, User, Job Number, Subject search and when they were last Updated.

  • Select your filter options and click Filter. Click Clear Filters to clear this, or Save Filters for future filtering.
  • You can also Export Nudges after filtering to an Excel file for reporting purposes.
