In order to utilise the Share Code API with CDP and/or publish Notices on FTS, requirements need to be linked with a 'Contracting Authority' organisation. This is so the requirement is automatically connected to:
- Buyer API Token - this is needed to publish notices as a CA & authorise the Share Code API. See here for more information on Buyer API Tokens.
- Contracting Authority details - to prepopulate these details in any FTS notices (address & identifier). See here for more information on notices (Admin).
If the site is set-up with only one Contracting Authority, then any requirements created will be connected with that Contracting Authority by default.
If the site is set-up with multiple, then the Contracting Authority will be determined based on the logged-in users organisation when creating the requirement. Key Users can be set-up to be given the option of picking the relevant organisation. Please contact support@panacea-software.com to amend access.
How to set-up a Contracting Authority?
- Go to Contacts > Organisations and select the relevant Organisation.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Main Details tab and tick the box next to Is Contracting Authority.
- You will now be able to provide a CDP Buyer Token (Buyer API Token) and a unique Identifier. Choose the relevant Identification Register from the drop-down list.
- The Contracting Authority address will come from the selected Organisation's main address.
