How to Use the Category Management Screen
The Category Management screen, found under the Sourcing menu, is a dashboard that provides high-level visibility across all Requirements, allowing you to quickly view key information such as buyers, people, and associated categories on a single page — all at a glance.
Use this guide to navigate the screen, understand each section, and make the most of the filtering and expandable data.
To access the screen:
- Go to the Sourcing menu.
- Select Category Management.
- The screen header will display Category Management.
- A table of Requirements will load, showing summary information with expandable elements.
Filtering and Sorting Options
Use filters at the top of the screen to refine the view. Multiple filters and modules can be applied and/or toggled on simultaneously.
Available visibility toggles:
- Archive toggle (same as Requirements screen)
- Modules:
- People
- Buyers
- Categories
- CPV Codes
Available filters:
- Requirement
- Requirement Type
- Cost Group
- Cost Stage
- Cost Category
- Include Disabled? Y/N
- Cost Description
- Include Disabled? Y/N
- Suppliers
- GL Codes
- CPV Codes + CPV Descriptions
