Adding a Project

Projects can be used to group jobs for certain types of work, events or departments. In order to create a job, you must have a project for it.

  • To create a project, click the +Project icon in the top menu bar.
  • Complete all of the details on the form, including an account, if your organisation uses this. Requirements can also be linked to the Project by clicking the relevant Requirement from the drop-down list next to 'Link to Sourcing Requirement'. After completing this, Click Add
  • Projects can be located within the Project List screen: Project Management  > Project List.

Closing a Project

To close a project, you are marking it as complete. This will mean any jobs within this project that has any active tasks will then be hidden, and you will no longer be able to add a job to the project. You will also not be able to submit timesheets against any jobs within a completed project.

  • Head to Project Management > Project List> and select the project you'd like to close.
  • You can then see the status of all jobs within that project.
  • If you have any Live jobs, you can then go in and mark these jobs as completed (from the Main Details page of the job bag).
  • If all jobs are marked as Completed you can then tick Completed and then press Update
  • If you are looking to close any project where there are still Live jobs, you will be asked to confirm that you are happy to remove these jobs from users active job lists and task lists. (I.e. it will no longer show on your home page/task screen for you to keep track of).
    • Please note that you will still need to go into these jobs to mark them as completed, so it is advised you only mark a project as completed once all jobs have been completed.
    • For T&I , please note that suppliers will still be able to fill in timesheet entries, but if you have manually added any adjustments you will need to remember to go back into the job and manually complete - as they will not automatically complete, nor will they show on your task list!

If you need to delete any projects, please email the Support Team at support@panacea-software.com
  • Please note, when a project is deleted it will also delete any jobs within that project
  • We would always recommend you complete the project (as described above) instead of deleting it!
