• Users receive in-app notifications when certain actions happen within Panacea. 
  • To view your notifications, click the bell icon at the top right-hand side of the page. 
  • Clicking on a notification will take you to the page which relates to that particular notification.

How to manage your notifications

  • After clicking on the bell icon, click on View More. This will take you to a page where you can view/ save all read or unread notifications and manage which notifications you see and how often you see them. 
  • Unread tab: 
    • This shows you a full list of all your unread notifications. The number of unread notifications is displayed in the Unread tab. 
    • You can move the notification from the Unread tab to the Read tab by clicking on it, this will take you to the relevant page which the notification relates to. 
    • Alternatively, you can click on the trash icon which will delete the notification from the Unread tab and move it to the Read tab. You can save any notifications by clicking on the Save for later icon. 
  • Read tab: 
    • This tab shows you all the notifications which you have viewed. 
    • Click the trash icon at the top of the page to permanently delete all notifications from the Read tab. Alternatively, all read notifications will be deleted automatically after 30 days. 
  • Saved tab: 
    • This tab shows you all of the notifications which you have saved. 
    • You can remove these notifications from this tab by clicking on the trash icon. This will move the notification back to the Read tab where you can then delete it.
  • Settings tab: 
    • It is not possible to completely turn off your notifications, however this tab allows you to choose between three options on how you receive notifications and how often you receive them.
    • You can choose to receive emails and notifications. 
    • You can receive notifications and a daily digest summary email of these by email. 
    • Or you can choose to only receive notifications. If you choose this option, you will still receive important system emails like password change requests etc. 
    • There is also an option to be alerted by email each time a message is sent via nudge, this will automatically be turned on for all users with a login. 

NB: All notification options can be tailored more specifically to your individual needs by creating Rules.


  • Rules tab:
    • This tab allows you to make your own rules so that you can filter out (automatically mark as read) notifications that you do not want to see. 
    • When a notification comes in which matches a rule, it will go straight to the Read tab and you will not get a pop-up notification. These notifications in the Read tab will be marked by a wand icon to identify that they came from a rule. 
    • To create a rule, type in the word(s) in the text box and click Add Rule. Then click the play icon (▶) to run the rule on all unread notifications. After you have run the rule once, it will automatically be applied to any future notifications. 
    • To delete the rule, click the trash icon.

  • NB: Every word in the rule must appear in the title and/or description of the notification and in the same order. For example: If the rule was 'Supplier estimate' and you had the notifications titled 'Click to view supplier estimate' and 'Delivery Confirmed by supplier', it will only work on the notification which includes both the word 'supplier' and 'estimate'. However, if the rule was only 'Supplier', then it would work on both of these notifications and they would both be automatically moved to the read tab.
