Too many notifications? Follow these simple steps to reduce them

You can reduce the number of your notifications by quickly setting up Rules in your Notifications settings.

To do so:

• Click on the Bell icon at the top right of the page: a small pop-up window will appear, listing your notifications.
• Click on View More at the bottom of this list.
• Go to the Rules Tab .
• To create a rule, type in a phrase in the text box and click Add Rule.
  • Now, any incoming notifications which contain this phrase will go straight to the Read tab and you will not get a pop-up notification, nor will this appear in your daily digest email.
• Click the play icon to run the rule on all unread notifications.
  • i.e. to move all notifications currently in the Unread tab which contain this phrase into the Read tab.
• Done!
