Importing/Uploading Assets

Modified on Wed, 10 Sep at 3:45 PM

  1. Log in to your Panacea Software account
  2. Navigate to Asset Manager > Open
  3. Once in the Asset Manager module, go to the Upload screen in the left-hand menu
  4. Select the type of file(s) you will be uploading
    • You can choose between uploading assets or consent forms. These must be uploaded separately - see this guide on how to connect assets to consent forms.
    • Each upload session has a 300-asset upload limit. If you have more files to upload, please use the Bulk Import upload feature via the link at the bottom right of the page.
  5. You can either drag and drop your files to the upload area or click Add files and browse to select them.
  6. Start entering your metadata
    • You don't need to wait for all your files to finish uploading to be able to do this.
    • You can select multiple assets at a time and edit their metadata in bulk.
  7. Discard any duplicates by clicking the discard duplicates button.
    • The system will identify any assets which appear to have been uploaded before.
  8. Once you have completed the mandatory metadata for an asset, this will be indicated with a green thumbs-up icon.
  9. Select the assets and choose your upload option from the following:
    1. Submit for approval: This submits your asset to a relevant admin user to be reviewed and then made available
    2. Keep in my uploads: This will store your assets in the My Uploads screen to return to at a later date while you continue to import other assets
    3. Submit to live: This bypasses the approval workflow and makes the asset(s) immediately available (this option will only be available to admin users)
