What does this report do/show?

This report shows an analysis of expenditure based on budget codes.

It includes client organisation, budget code, budget description, dates for which budget is valid, whether the budget is chargeable, expenditure/mark-up/total cost for each budget code, budget value and balance.


The summary report is summarised by each organisation’s use of each budget code.

The detailed report shows each cost on each budget code. It includes job description, whether the job is chargeable and the client department/section/contact within the organisation.


Filters/options:

  • Client organisation/department/section
  • Client contact
  • Budget type (This filter option cannot be used together with Job Charging Type filter)
  • Job charging type (This filter option cannot be used together with Budget Type filter)
  • Charging year
  • Budget/cost code
  • Report Level
    • Summary – summarised by each organisation’s use of budget codes.
    • Detailed – shows each cost on each budget code.
  • Expenditure type
    • Actual Expenditure – includes costs that are Approved and Paid.
    • Projected Expenditure– includes costs that are Approved but not yet paid.
