For sites using our eAuction functionality.


Suppliers will receive a notification once they are invited to participate in an eAuction. In order to participate they must:


Register Interest:

  • Participate > Register Interest, go to the eAuction tab.
    • Suppliers can only Register Interest up until the Registration Deadline Date set by the key user.
  • Click ‘Participate’, and the eAuction moves to My eAuctions under ‘Upcoming Auctions’. 


Submit a Qualification Bid.


Suppliers must submit a qualification bid and this bid be equal to or less than the Qualification Price for suppliers to be admitted to the eAuction. The Qualification Price will not be visible to suppliers when making their bids. 

  • Participate > My eAuctions and click onto the eAuction.
  • Go to the Qualification Bids tab and click ‘Place Bid’ next to each item you wish to auction for.
  • Enter the price per UoM to bid and click ‘Submit’.
  • If the Qualification bid is too high, the supplier cannot click submit and is prompted to lower their bid in order to participate
    • The supplier can change their Qualification Bid at any time up until the eAuction begins.


Taking Part in the eAuction: 


Suppliers will be able to bid for all items they qualified for when submitting a Qualification bid. Suppliers can still submit a Qualification bid once the eAuction has gone live in order top enter that eAuction. 


Submitting bids

All items the participant is qualified for will be listed at the bottom of the eAuction page. This will show the participants current bid amount and their rank.

  • Click “Place Bid” next to the item and enter the bid amount per UoM.
  • The participant will only be able to submit a bid within the Bid Range displayed.
  • the bid range is set between the previous bid amount to 20% less than the previous bid amount.
  • The Rank will change according to where their bid now places in comparison to other participants bids.
  • Each bid will also be displayed in the Live Auction screen.


NB: Participants can also send the host a message at any time. Messages sent to and received from the host will be displayed in the Live Auction screen. Participants can also click “Reply” next to messages sent from the host.
