Nudges can only be sent to users that have logins. When you have been sent a Nudge you will receive a notification within Panacea; depending on your Notifications settings you can also receive an email when you have a new notification.


To opt out of email prompts, go to your notification settings by clicking on the bell icon at the top right-hand side of your screen. Click view more > settings to adjust your notifications.


When responding to a Nudge you can say "Yes" or "No", add a note with extra detail if required and attach documents that are viewable to both parties.  


For Admins and Buyers 


Nudge allows Project Managers the ability to contact clients and suppliers directly within Panacea Software. Nudge will also be used for clients cancelling their appointments and suppliers notifying you of the outcome of their confirmation call.


Send a Nudge to a Client:

  • Within the job bag you can send a Nudge to a client by clicking +Nudge from the top bar.
  • You will be notified when the client has responded/approved/rejected your Nudge.


Send a Nudge to a Supplier:

  • Within the job bag, head to the Costs tab. 
  • Next to the costs, you can select Nudge and type in your question/comment to the supplier. It will display the organisation the Nudge is being sent to (the chosen supplier) and the specific contact in that organisation who will receive the Nudge.  
  • You will be notified when the supplier has responded/approved/rejected your Nudge.


To view your Nudges correspondence:

  • Within the job bag, all correspondence relating to the specific job done via Nudge will be shown within the Nudges tab.
  • To view all your out-standing Nudges, please click Nudge > View.
  • To send a nudge to any PM, Client, or supplier please click +Create.


For Clients


Sending the PM a question regarding a job:

  • Client Interface > Ordering > In Progress, and select the relevant job.
  • On the top bar above the job, click the button labelled Nudge
  • Select the Project Manager (under Recipient). Within the Nudge Question field, please type in your query and then click +Nudge. The PM will then be notified that you have asked a question.


To view your Nudges correspondence:

  • To view all your out-standing Nudges, please click Nudge > View.
  • To send a nudge to a PM, click +Create

How to cancel a booking (via Nudge):

To cancel an Interpreting appointment or a Translation booking within Panacea Software using Nudges.  Please follow the below steps.

  • Login to Panacea and head to Client Interface > Ordering > In Progress, and select the relevant job.

  • On the top bar above the job, you will see a button labelled Nudge - please click.

  • Select the Project Manager (under Recipient).

  • Within the Nudge Question field, please type in your request to cancel the appointment/booking and a reason as to why. Then click +Nudge.

  • The Project Manager will then be notified that you have requested to cancel your appointment, and will do so accordingly.

  • Once your appointment has been cancelled, you will receive a notification stating they have approved your request to cancel - as well as an email confirming this.


For Suppliers


Asking the PM a question about an invoice

  • From your Supplier Interface > Submit Invoices screen, click on the button labelled Submit an invoice. 
  • Click into the specific job and then click on the button labelled Nudge.
  • Type in your query and then press +Add Nudge - the PM will then be notified of your query.


Asking the T&I team a question about a specific job:

  • If you need to ask the Project Manager a question about a specific job, you can do this within Panacea.
  • Within the Appointments & Jobs page, click into the specific job and press Ask Nudge Question.
    • Type in your query and then press +Add Nudge - the PM will then be notified of your query.


Confirming the outcome of a confirmation call:

  • When you are required to make a confirmation call for an appointment, you can now let the T&I team know the outcome of the call within Panacea.

  • Within the Appointments & Jobs page, click into the specific job and press Ask Nudge Question.

    • Type in the outcome of the call and then press +Add Nudge - the PM will then be notified.


To view your Nudges correspondence:

  • To view all your out-standing Nudges, please click Nudge > View.


If you respond to a Nudge from your View > Nudges screen, this will remove the notification from your Bell icon.


In the View > Nudges screen you have the option to filter your nudge view to suit your preference. Click Save Filters to make this your default view.
